We partnered with premium commercial property specialist Onyx Interiors, to refurbish an impressive six-storey office building prominently positioned in Uxbridge town centre and home to PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This eight week project included:
- Stripping out the redundant data centre and power installation
- Installing new sub-metered distribution equipment to provide a separate supply to the reclaimed space
- Reconfiguring and reprogramming the existing lighting system to suit the new layout
Challenges
This was a complex installation and prior to our involvement, the scope of work set out by the original specification was at risk of missing the deadline.
We came on board and worked quickly to examine all the available options before find a new solution that met the timing and budget constraints and was accepted by the landlord, consultant and client.
Results
We managed to keep ahead of plan at every stage of the project and completed ahead of schedule. Following the success of the electrical element of this project, we were subsequently engaged by the M+E consultant to conduct a similar project in Birmingham city centre.
